This is where every child starts.  It is the core of our entire program.  We offer 6u, 8u, 10u, 12u, and HS level programs for every child.  Through assessments and a draft process, teams are assembled at the start of each season.  Teams practice 1-2 times a week and will play other recreational teams from Oviedo, Winter Springs, Winter Park, East Orange and South Orlando programs.  In the fall season, teams will play 10-12 games.  The spring season consists of 13-15 games.     From the recreational program, players are nominated and can tryout for All Star teams that will continue to play through the summer through the District, State and, possibly the World Series.  Oviedo has a long history of successful State and World Series runs in the Babe Ruth program with over 20 banners in the last 10 years. 

You will see below reference to "softball age". Softball age means the age a child will be prior to the end of the calendar year (aka December 31st of the same year).

Cost to register for the Fall 2022 Season is $160, which includes your Jersey, Belt, Socks and Bow. All field usage for practices and games, and all umpiring fees!
